Lamb meatball with mint and Turkish sauce

INGREDIENTS

– 500g Ground lamb
– 125g of breadcrumbs
– 1 Egg
– 1 Clove of garlic, chopped
– 60g of fresh mint
– 30g of olive oil
– Salt and pepper
– 250g of plain yogurt
– 3g Fresh mint, chopped
– 1g of cumin powder
– Zest and juice of 1/2 lime

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:- Preheat the oven to 180 °C
Step 2:- In a bowl, mix all ingredients except oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3:- Shape each dumpling with about 20g of the oil.
Step 4:- In a large non-stick ovenproof skillet, brown the meatballs in the oil.
Step 5:- Cook in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Step 6:- In a bowl, mix all ingredients for the sauce.
Step 7:- Serve the meatballs as an appetizer with the sauce.

Chef’s tip: you can make the meatballs in advance and freeze them to eat at your convenience.
