We, human beings, have been designed to adapt to our living environment. As we are living in a more and more toxic world, detoxing and cleansing has become a powerful nutritional strategy. Don’t worry, we are not going to see which detox is good or not, what is important to understand is that the mind and the body coexist and work together. Detoxing is getting rid of the toxins out of our body, but what about the mind? What about all the negative thoughts in our mind?

– I have a poor body

– I need to look different

All thoughts that we say to ourselves that give us conditional love and that make us believe that we are not OKAY as we are now – These are the negative thoughts and toxic beliefs.

There is a Yogic sating that goes ~The body is solidified mind and the mind is rarefied body.

So to boost your detoxing program, think about cleansing the mind also. From different cultures and traditions, since the beginning of time, there were cleansing strategies and these people were doing it not to fit in a size 34 jeans but they were doing it to stay connected to their true self and to empower them in their life to higher levels of purity.

Therefore, if you are constantly doing self-attacks, holding grudges that you need to let go, hanging onto negativity in your mind and heart, consider also detoxing your mind. Remember, these negative thoughts turn off our light and take lots our energy and more importantly, make us become more vulnerable to toxins.

When doing the body detox, do try to notice what needs to leave our life, notice the bad old habits, thoughts and poisonous beliefs and LET GO, DO NOT HANG ON TO THEM.
